Here's the first pictures... I'll add more and get this done when I've got time, but for now...
These were taken on the 6th of May, just about 3 months after starting the work. I've still got a few things left to do, and I still need a rear turn signal post, if you've got a spare one, let me know. Hopefully next weekend I'll take it out for it's first ride.
Here's me standing next to it, almost complete. In the back is the facility where I did most of the work on the bike here at Vance AFB. All the tools I needed, a bit of help here and there, and a great place to work and many people offering motivation.
Here's the "other" side of the bike, without the exhaust system. No, I don't have the left rear blinker on, nor do I have the alternator placard on. The Honda placard needs to be touched up before installing it.
Here's another of the right side.
This is about 2 months after the restoration, finally a little time to get a few pictures. Pilot training hasn't left much time for fun, and 105 degree temps ain't been great for riding. I have been having quite a blast on the bike though. Almost 1000 miles since the resto. Still needs a few things here and there, and my chromer has to redo a few parts taht didn't turn out how I wanted... I gotta say it's a lot of fun to ride.
